Mouse-over the dollar bills to learn more about each fundraiser
At Table Rock Kiwanis, we have two major fundraisers that generate funding for our service projects. We also engage in smaller fundraising projects, including our annual spring yard sale and carwashes, that afford us the opportunity to supplement the income from the major events. In addition, we have a Spring and Christmas auction that raises funding for the administration of the club.
Our Fried Bread concession is the granddaddy of them all. The club has been cooking up our delectable fried Bread at the Central Point 4th of July Celebration for years This one carries some wallop, as we generate quite a bit of profit in a relatively short period of time. It does take a sizeable crew, but we always seem to have plenty of help. This is a simple concession, as we sell Fried Bread, water and soda pop. It is always a fun day as we celebrate our nation's independence with the parade and community activities. In addition to the fried bread, we now offer spiral cut fried potatoes which quickly have become quite popular. See you on the 4th of July!
Our See's Candy sales campaign completed its 13th year in 2018, operating again from our See's Trailer in front of Alberstson's in Central Point. We staff the See's trailer from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve or sooner if we sell out. We log well over 200 hours of volunteer time, not including the set up, tear down, ordering, receiving the candy, making signs as well as the extra time for the treasurer in making daily deposits and preparing a working till for each day. Our efforts go to support the many organizations we partner with, and all profits go to the cause as all of our labor is volunteered. All of our administrative costs come from our members, with all public support going directly to our benefactors. We thank you for your support of the See's Fundraiser. Thanks to our supporters, 2018 was our best year ever!
